"Doing our best today for a brighter future tomorrow"
Beech Hill Primary School has served the community of Beech Hill in Wigan since 1913 and thousands of children have passed through the doors of the original school. In January 2010, however, demolition work started on the old school and a £4.6m project to bring the school up to 21st century standards culminated in the opening of our brand new state-of-the-art facilities in February 2011.
Whilst the building work was taking place Janet Seddon, headteacher, stated, “I’m really excited about the plans for the new school, as are our pupils. With its fantastic facilities, the new school really will place us at the heart of the community.”
The information on our website will give you an insight into the life of our school and help you make the most of the excellent opportunities that Beech Hill can offer.
Our aim at Beech Hill is to develop each child's abilities and interests to the highest level of personal achievement, and to work in partnership with parents in order to bring out the very best in each child. We work in close partnership with families in order to offer an environment that is caring, supportive and based on mutual trust and this supports children in becoming active members of Beech Hill community.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you and your child to Beech Hill.
